  Warm friendly helpful hosts. Relaxed atmosphere. Stunning mountain views from full-length bedroom windows. Exquisite, quirky decor with numerous antiques, paintings - felt like a luxurious, tasteful post-medieval townhouse. Easy access to mountains. No longer has restaurant although serves drinks, snacks and sandwiches and lovely breakfasts. Set i... ce que les gens disent » n lovely stone-built mountain village by fast-flowing river and numerous little bars, cafes and restaurants with amazing quality food, not at rip-off - The room was nice, with a comfy chair which was very useful - we barely left the hotel because it wouldn't stop raining!! It also had a nice downstairs living room area which is good for reading and if you want the hosts to make you a €2 coffee.

  It was an absolute delight to stay at Hotel La Casuena. The hotel is in a small and very attractive village above a lake a few kilometres from the top of Portalet pass. Our hosts, Marian and Miguel, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel is lovely with great artistic touches throughout and it has clearly been a "labour of love" ... ce que les gens disent » for them in designing the interiors and adding all the extra interesting touches that are throughout the hotel. But the best part of our stay was the - We had a GREAT time at la casueña and the owners did It even better... They are sooo lovely. Fantastic breakfast with all kind of detail and good taste for food and decoration. We Used the bicycles to have a ride through the montains!! WOOW! No words to describe It! And the house is in a small beautiful village! Not to be missed!! We Will come back for sure! Thank you so much for making It so special!!
