  We previously stayed at Casa Matilda for one night and liked Leo and Elena's hospitaliy so much that we returned for a three day stay this October (2013) with two of our friends. The house is gorgeous. Our room was more like a suite with a huge bathroom, living room with minifridge and large bedroom. But as wonderful as the physical space is - Leo and Elena make you really feel - Leo and Alana were amazing hosts. We arrived on a holiday when local restaurants were closed. So, we purchased a home meal prepared by Alana and served by Leo in their living room / breakfast room. Leo cheerfully carried all of our luggage up the steps. The room was a really a spacious suite and we had access to the roof garden, the previously mentioned living room, and the lobby. Leo and Alana made us feel like guests in their home. Roy is a very good chef offering a menu of the day. The hotel is right on the via verde walking/cycling track and there is plenty to do in the local area.

  Hotel Sa Calma is a gorgeous hotel and we had an extremely relaxing stay there. The staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome our entire stay. They have a chess and a backgammon table in a beautiful sitting area and it was great to see my two older boys having a blast challenging each other in a game of chess upon our arrival.   A fantastic location - the balcony of our room looked straight out towards Pedraforca mountain - probably the best view I've ever had from any hotel room in which I've stayed. The staff were generally very helpful, for example, when we ran out of clean clothes they allowed us to use their washing machine and clothes line for free. Beautiful location, lovely facility, lovely, family-run hotel...the staff (i.e. the family) took care of us like royalty/family. The room had a fabulous view of the mountains. The food was elegant and the wine superb. They did their best to accommodate our poor spanish/catalon and we all had fun with the process. This was a real find for us and would recommend to anyone.
