  The total ambience of the hotel and village. The wine tasting together with the tapas was a total surprise but very welcome. We were the only guests that night so we had Mariano to ourselves! We then had a wonderful dinner cooked by his mother, then spent further time in the bar socialising with his father and locals. The tour and sampling in the wine cellar was bliss! It made for a very comfortable stop on the drive down through Spain.

  Everything was lovely. The situation of the hotel, just a few kms off the autovia between Badajoz and Barcelona is perfect and the village is charming and historical. They were having a music festival in the church in early July, but unfortunately, we couldn´t stay. Breakfast was good too - we had scrambled eggs, but there was also ´presunto´ with melon. Maybe not necessary so many sweet things. We had ´ - This hotel is a gem. Nice spacious modern room with good beds, beautifull view. Rich breakfast. We had delicious lunch and diner at the restautant/bar 100m away that they own. The village is ancient and well restored and is definetely worth a visit.

  Staff is really nice, always helpful and we felt welcome everywhere and every time, pool area nice, food was excellent, so was breakfast, room was great, bed good, we enjoyed our stay very much - From the beginning till the end was almost perfect. The hotel itself and the location is a big surprise.We loved it.

  The staff we're attentive, professional, extremely polite & friendly. The private Spa was uber relaxing. We had a superior double room. So comfortable, so relaxing. Bath had a Jazzuzi so relaxing. Breakfast was also great. We learned to make our own cafe using the hotel breakfast Nepresso machine each morning without having to hassle the staff. Massage was also very relaxing.
