We found the location ideal for us. Aparthotel Rubimar is a leasurely 20 to 25 minute walk away from the main port of Playa Blanca. The walk is along the seafront, like a prominard but not in a commercial looking way. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel, well worth a visit.

Perfect location, with bars, supermarkets and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away. Excellent room which faced the pool and got the sun all day, which was great to sit on after a day out walking or at the beach.
Everything was perfect, especially as myself and my partner were self-catering, and kitchen provided us we everything we needed.
Have already recommended the Rubimar to friends.

place to stay. We have spent 3-6 weeks in Gran Canara the last 16
winters, always in bungalows in Maspalomas or Playa del Ingles. We hope

The chalet was very good, as described. I was travelling alone and just wanted something basic and reasonably priced, a place to rest after a day out in the mountains of Gran Canaria, walking and taking pictures. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good wifi service for 18 euro a week. I would definitely return if I want to stay in Maspalomas again.

I stopped staying at gay properties 15 years ago having found they were often overpriced and poorly run, so i was a liitle unsure booking this property initially. However I loved being there so much I more than doubled my stay. The property is secure, comfortable, nicely appointed, quiet, well run and was a pleasure to stay in. The location was perfect... 5 minutes walking from Playa Las Canteras... and there were many places to eat nearby. The mall is also a 5 minute walk from the property. The property was pretty clean and had great wifi in the rooms

The location is 15 minutes by car from airport, you have to get car to visit the island and this location is in the middle of every direction , so excellent for my point of view.15 minutes to go to playa ingles and 15 to las Palmas city and so on, I totally raccomand the place if u like to go around renting car, bus also from airport can bring up

The staff were very friendly. It was 5km from the airport. I was on my
way to Malaga so only stayed one night but would stay there again. It
did look like it was newly refurbished. Very interesting decor. Going up
in the lift was a glass window with views of waterfalls sharks shells
