  Great location! The hotel is in the village, situated high above the more urban, beach community of Benalmádena. It's easily accessed from the highway, but driving up from the coast is little more challenging. The hotel staff, particularly Navita at reception, was amazing! They were so friendly and helpful! There is on- site, free, gated parking, but it's easier to check in first and get directions/instructions. WiFi even - Hotel La Fonda is situated just off Plaza Espana in Benalmadena Pueblo. Transport from Malaga Airport is easy by taking the Fuengirola train to Benalmadena and then the 121 Mijas bus to the Pueblo. The hotel is about 400 metres from the bus stop.
