The classes on offer were great and we really enjoyed the gym.   Location: at the seaside with beautiful views. Good and large breakfast, good cuisine. We booked a studio, but when we arrived the building with the studio's was closed. We were upgraded to a junior suite with balcony and seaview. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. All the staff speak English. Despite the nearness of that highway you don't hear any of it in the hotel or in your room. A lovely place to relax a - I don't usually bother writing reviews but I feel compelled to say a few lines about El Ocean. What a great place. You can't fault it for anything, great service, amazing pool, killer views and excellent food in the restaurant. It was the perfect finish to our holiday in Europe prior to our return to New Zealand. Thumbs up to John and the team.
