  July 2013. We had a great time at this pension. We called ahead to say we would be late and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and some can speak English. When we arrived the staff could not speak English but communicated through a translator app!! The location is excellent, 5 mins walk from the centre of las Ramblas and a metro stop. The - Loved the staff, even though only one of them speaks English, but since he's there every day at day time, I had no problem asking for help. My room was cleaned every day, which for a hostel is pleasantly surprising. The location is good as in in the center - two minute walk to La Rambla and ten minute walk to the port. Plaça de Catalunya with the AeroBus is within 5 min too, so transfers to/from the airport could never be easier The AC worked perfectly, fridge, shower, wifi etc - all good

  I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.   Great central location. The staff were really friendly and helpful,our double room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with en suite including wall hair dryer and the option to have towels changed daily or to re-use. We stayed for a cold 5 days in February but the room air conditioning served very well as a heater as you were able to programme t... ce que les gens disent » o whatever temperature you required. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was machine coffee, however the dining area leads on to the public restaurant/c - The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably

La beauté, propreté du bateau. Le jacusi évidemment. Boire un coup allongé sur le solarium après une journée visite c'est extra. La vue est aussi magnifique. - E... ce que les gens disent » xcellent emplacement, permet de profiter à fond de Barcelone à pied (Rambla, Barceloneta...) Janet est adorable, très attentives à vos moindres demandes. Les cabines sont charmantes, et le bateau est super bien entretenu.

  Excellent location and very spacious accommodation,also I have to say nearly a bargain compared what you will pay to a hotel for 5 persons.Away from the hustle and bustle but only a few minutes away from main tourist areas by metro green line 3 of which Les Corts metro stop is right opposite.Right below apartment are a coffee shop,tapas restaurant... ce que les gens disent » and turkish kebab takeaway with tables and chairs outside for alfresco dining;all were really good.Plenty of shops selling lovely fresh fruit and veg - The apartments were right next to the metro and it was so easy to get around. The bar downstairs had excellent food and the sangria was the best in the city (that I tried). Most of the staff was very friendly. The imbas next door was excellent and had delicious food.   Overall, we had a great vacation and we enjoyed our stay at Castro . the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to offer help and answer our questions, perfect place for families, the location is perfect near two metro stations, we loved it and I recommend this for families. - Great place!
