  Extra long bathtub (I'm tall), excellent sheets and pillows, towel warmer (great for drying damp clothes), and location (close enough to walk to the cathedral and the lively street next to the Pilgrim Office) in the central old part). Hearty breakfasts with yogurt, cereal, and lots of fresh fruits to choose from along with traditional tostada, che... ce que les gens disent » ese, ham and cafe con leche. - The room is nicely designed, with beautiful double-panelled windows, interesting royal sun design on ceiling, carbed stone wall in bathroom. Bird on ledge next to bathroom was a great touch! Bathroom has a warm, aesthetic feel. Overlooks main entry way for pilgrims on Camino de Santiago. Decent breakfast offered. Friendly staff--speak Spanish and French, some English.

  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)
