Wonderful stay. Central location in the beautiful and charismatic Gothic quarter, walking distance to Las Ramblas and the beach.Very friendly owners, provided with useful information and map. Also requested flight details so could greet us when we arrived, and provided very useful directions and map from Airport. Also free Wifi. Would highly recommend Mapamundo, thanks for a loverly hostel.

The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and willing to help, the rooms were cleaned every day, they made us feel very welcome and clearly made an effort for us to be comfortable. Great Value, Excellent location 100 yds, in a Lane from The Rambla, very clean with fresh paint, and a good size bedroom and bathroom, also fridge, staff were helpful. I liked the fact that for a such a noisy place i was able to sleep an wasn't sleep deprived,i had a concern about them not having a safety deposit box in the room with the reputation BCN has for pickpockets, scammers etc but it turned out ok nothing happened. -

It was our first time in Bcn. Staying at Backpackers House Bcn make us feel like home. Its location very in the city center; very convenience to walk around in the city, to take a bus, to take a metro/train. The bus and metro stations are just around the corner. Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping
area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from
Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want
to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway
or with your map trying to see where the nearest subway is. The
personell is very nice and the places looks pretty well.

Everything at this hostel is perfect. It really is like a home and feels like a boutique hotel, except that you're just staying in dorms. Beautiful dorms at that. The staff and owner are lovely and so helpful. It is in one of the best locations in Barcelona in a beautiful tree-lined, semi-pedestrian street so it is relatively quiet and very tranquil. It is such good value for money.

Amazing atmosphere, the staff were exceptional and really made me feel at home. Rooms and facilities were clean and new. Free dinner was a fabulous and great way to meet people. Location couldn't be better. Definitely I will come back! -
