  Good location in Triana, close to lots of restaurants. It was a 15 min or so walk over to the bull ring; maybe 20-25 mins to the Cathedral, but a beautiful walk by the river. Good amount of space in the apt (except for the second bedroom, which was very small with a single bed). Cheap, safe, parking. Very helpful staff.   The staff met us promptly on time and explained all about the appartment. The location was good. Close to the bullring, good food and the centre of tourist district. Check Teresa bar opposite for delicious tapas and try local 'tinto de verano' drink which is a mix of wine with lemon. The hostal is located in a very old house so ready for a piece of history. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.

  Easy 9min walk from bus-station. Joan on the night desk was very cheerful and helpful, despite limited English (but he makes the effort). 24hr front desk. Nice wall tiling.
