  It's a small guesthouse inside a building with private apartments. Perfect location- close to the beach and to the central street La Rambla. The room we stayed in was beautiful, with original features. Felt like we were getting the true experience of Catalan culture. The location was excellent, situated right in the center of Barcelona, in the Las Ramblas area and by the Marina and beach.

  At first we were not sure about Petit Born - the shared bathroom was a concern for us and we had not picked this up on the web site when we booked. However, Anna was extremely helpful and convinced us to stay. I loved my stay there, especially as a female travelling on my own!   Very friendly owner took the time to give me useful information about the city. Very basic accommodation but spotlessly clean, comfortable and close to the metro and plenty of restaurants. On arrival They were waiting and gave me information on what to visit and where to eat. I can honestly recommend the place. The owners of the apartman were really kind and helpful. They gave us nice tips for sightseeing, food, party. Room was clean.

The balcony, shaped tub, remote controlled curtains, reflective glass, see-through glass, mirrors, and lighting, all contributed to an intimate setting. The hotel's library, livingroom, artwork, outdoor space with sunhats - We enjoyed the juxtaposition of the historic building and painted ceilings against the modern decor. The staff was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and directions to the sites. The breakfasts were delicious and diverse (instead of the bread and coffee most B&Bs serve). It was extremely clean and very intimate given there are only 7 rooms. We ate breakfast on the private patio every morning where we enjoyed architecture hidden from passersby on the street.
