Location was great - in the historic city centre, you can enjoy a walk to many places of interest. Opera metro station is just 1 minute from hostel. 24 hours supermarket is almost next door. My window was on pedestrian street Arenal, where people are walking all night long, but it wasn't noisy, I easily fell asleep (with closed window). Very safe district of Madrid. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I checked in at night and man didn't speak english, but it was ok for checking in, showing my

We enjoyed our stay in Madrid!
The room was very nice, clean and decorated with a lot of love.
It was in the city center and all sights are in walking distance.
The personal was very friendly and warm-hearted. We felt welcome and would recommend the hostal. :-) -

Vraiment au centre de Madrid, hotel agréable, en vacances on ne passe pas sa vie à l'hotel alors parfait pour se reposer et laisser les affaires.Chambre sur cour donc très calme, je ne sais pas si ça l'est autant côté rue. We made a booking for 2 nights and got a good room that was to the inside of building.
There were 2 head boards, which showed that the 3rd bed was just makeshift.

This is rather a 3 star hotel not just a hostel - the rooms are small but are really cosy and comfortable; the furniture is new and there is enough place to put all your the baggage; it was extremely clean (we had our room cleaned every day); there`s free wi-fi which is fast; the personal speaks English which is quite an advantage in Spain; location - perfect - 2 mins to Gran Via and not more than 20 mins to Puerta del Sol and at the same time it was not noisy at all.
