  It´s a purpose built hostel, not a converted apartment building. The rooms are very spacious. The staff was exceedingly helpful and very nice (I can speak spanish, so I can't vouch for their foreign language skills). There was a small leak on the toilet flush (it can happen in the best places) when we arrived at about 2100, but the receptionist fi... ce que les gens disent » xed it immediately. - Superb location and very spacious room. Felt newly decorated and the word 'clean' simply can't describe the sparkling perfection of the rooms and common areas. The photos simply don't do justice to the hotel/hostal - common areas are beautiful and the building reminded us of a Moroccan riad.

  Possibly the best accommodation we've had in years. An airy, quiet, lovely apartment right in the middle of everything (yet shielded from the noise, as it is in an alley). Spick and span. We stayed in the one close to the end of the short alley - I cannot remember if Medina or Reyes Catolicos. - The apartment is in a perfect central location right next to tapas bars and the main square where we were lucky enough to watch some street flamenco performances. The apartment was well-equipped with a nice kitchenette. The lady who checked us in was very helpful even though we arrived outside the usual check-in hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 5 nights and would not hesitate to come back.

  We were given a Junior Suite which was spacious with huge bed, sofa and extra bed. The plasma TV was also huge. The bedroom is separated by a door from the entrance and bathroom (spacious with big shower and bathtub). It is really quiet, soundproofing seems to be working.
