  Very nice place to stay in a beautiful quiet area. Nice owners, very friendly and always willing to help you despite communication was limited as the owners speak limited English but we knew this upfront (other references of visitors)! Unfortunately the pool was a little bit cold at this time of the year so we did spend a lot of time in the nice garden. Gir - It's set in beautiful surroundings, peaceful and quiet. The owners/ staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly beyond believe, you are completely taken care of whatever you need and whenever, it's no problem ... with a big smile. Now we've been there twice and we are in love with the place. The kids had lots of space to play and many things to do while we could lounge and kick back. We'll definitely go there again.   Montjuic B&B is located high on a hillside in an area of expensive homes overlooking the new part of Girona. It's within walking distance of the old town, though the climb back up includes almost 300 stair-steps plus some steep paths. Our room was spotless, comfortable, with a comfortable bed and maid service during the day. There was no bathtub b - We couldn't recommend Montjuic enough - so stylish, relaxing, and comfortable. Carmen was a wonderful host - extremely welcoming, passionate about what she does and helpful when giving tips on where to eat/what to do in Girona. She is obviously a big foodie like us. One small thing is, while we really enjoyed the breakfast, we felt it was slightly overpriced for what you get, however, it was so impressive that many of the jams, yogurts etc Carmen had made herself.
