  As disabled person i was concerned i would not be able to get around ,the facilities were excellent and very wheelchair friendly the staff and management was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.i thouroghly enjoyed my stay at the makaranga and would recommend it to all especially those that have disab... ce que les gens disent » lities - The whole place was amazing.   Building is very comfortable, furnished in a modrn style, dinner is excellent, team is friendly, the view to the sea is perfect. - Fabulous beachfront location. Very handy for airport. Elegant modern design. Good gourmet restaurant. Nice people. Very secure.

  Stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover for our honeymoon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accomodation was awesome, try get rooms 10 - 15 as they are the most private. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could've stayed longer. - The tents were nice.

  We only arrived at the resort at 7pm on date of arrival and we were very tired as we had done Sani Pass before arriving. Our check in was not very welcoming but the staff at the tavern welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. They understood that we were tired and hungry and saw to us quickly. That was exceptional service. It was relax... ce que les gens disent » ing and pleasing to know that the children were being entertained whilst we were either relaxing by the pool side or during the hikes. We loved going - The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist us and tend to our needs. The facilities were awesome and met our expectations. The resort was easy to find and the security as well as staff made the check in and check out very comfortable and easy.

  My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic ... ce que les gens disent » for couples too! Was definately a highlight to our trip. Big yes recommendation from us!! - We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.
