Great value for money. Beautiful location. Rooms are tastefully
decorated with a hint of French country side and come with dstv and a
fridge. Beds are very comfortable with quality, fresh white linen. The
breakfast was very impressive with an assortment of fresh fruits,
coffee and a plate with bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, tomato and

The rooms at Adeo are very comfortable and having a fridge and microwave
was great. Michelle, her mom and the staff are really friendly and went
more than the extra mile to make my stay there pleasant, providing
special breakfasts to suit my dietary needs.

Awesome place. Location is in fact very convenient and comments to the
contrary don't make much sense; it's 5mins into the centre of
town and really no traffic. Plus it's on the side of town you
probably want to be. The only reason to cross town is to get to the
train station which you'd escape as fast as humanly possible.

This stunning "afri-chic" guest house is a delightful place to stay. Attention to detail, comfort and creativity abounds. Chloe and Marie took excellent care of us and I can highly recommend Liedjiesbos Guest House to anyone. We had dinner at the 'Longhorn Steak House', a few minutes down the road, which was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Belinda and Dawid Lombard went out of their way to make our 4 day/night stay utterly enjoyable. In their beautiful garden peace and tranquility are easily restored to you. the walks in picturesque Ladybrand were invigorating to say the least. The friendly and helpful people we bumped into were surprising to behold! -

Brilliant four-night stay! The room was spacious, with lovely furniture and excellent finishes. Beautiful view looking out into mountains and private from neighbours. Very spacious en-suite bathroom, with nice bath and shower. Nice walking trail starts 50m away and town square with restaurants etc. is only 300m away or so. Breakfasts were AMAZING!

I had a comfortable, enjoyable experience here. Despite a slight glitch with my booking Hannetjie was gracious and accommodating. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and more than ample. The mountain view is very special and you are just out of the hustle and bustle of town to enjoy the quiet of the magnificent surrounds. Do take a drive from Clarens to Fouriesburg as the scenery is breathtaking and you can pick up some lovely jams at a fraction of the price you will pay in Clarens.

The Hostess is absolutely amazing. I have never experienced such overwhelming hospitality and friendship from a stanger. I stayed in Arista Guesthouse for a minor medical procedure. Svetlana took me to hospital and came to fetch me again. She wouldn't hear of it that I can use a taxi to and from hospital. I defenitely made a lifelong friend. -
