Amazingly friendly hosts who catered to our every need - including treating us like friends giving us lifts everywhere and the most delicious breakfasts including fresh scones and croissants. ... ce que les gens disent » llent. It had all the facilities that you need with big bathroom and nice garden. Breakfasts were awesome. Hosts were really friendly and helpful. They were driving us in the neighborhood when we need it. I would recomend to anyone to stay in Arum guest house!

The water meter had been stollen so we were without water for a good part of a day. The staff made sure we had water and hot water whenever we needed it.
Wonderful breakfasts. Nice location in Johannesburg. Would stay again for sure.

I honestly loved most of the things about this hotel, the staff were very very nice, my room was spacious and always clean. They gave free soda, juice, sparkling and clear water. It's a beautiful, comfortable and relaxed environment with a lovely layout. The staff is just wonderful and parking is on the premises and safe. Breakfast is super and you can have it inside or outside in the morning sun. Melville restaurants are on your doorstep. This is a place to stay at when in Joburg.

A very comfortable small and intimate B&B in the leafy suburb of Melville. A very convenient place to stay for budget travellers visiting Johannesburg. Close to the city as well as the important suburbs. Excellent breakfasts and pretty, small garden. Very obliging staff. -

33 on first is a wonderful guest house, with a very beautiful
decoration, very friendly staff, really tasteful breakfast and located
in the best neighborhood of Johannesburg (safe and quiet, but with many
options of restaurants and bars). However, the best experience we had in
the week we stayed in the house was the contact with Johan, the owner.

A very attractive decoration with home atmosphere cerated by all but specially by Johann-owner. Tasteful South African breakfast (for my friends it was a first time in RSA), no problem with anything we asked for - thanks Johann.
