  I stayed at the Tropicana in December 2010 and was not impressed at all. During my last stay I notced a remarkable improvement, i.e refurbishment, staff, etc. Well done! - The fact that it is on the beach front and our bus just dropped us at the door, that was awesome. Value for money as well.

  Although its in the city, you don't get to hear to city noise and the views from the hotel are very nice - From arrival to departure, we were made to feel that we were guests and not just people to fill rooms. We would stay there again when next we visit Durban.

I appreciate the assistance of Anna who get up so early to prepare our breakfast and make sure we had something to eat before we left for the Eastern Cape. - The location is good. The staff polite. The breakfast was good. The garden and parking area clean and well maintained.
