  The DaVinci is rated as a 5-star, and mostly lives up to that rating. The staff (especially), rooms, and amenities are excellent. Proximity to the Sandton Center Mall is a real plus. The food, while very good, is perhaps not outstanding. Breakfast, which was included in the room rate was good. The staff at the hotel were truly exceptional. I quite liked the chambermaid checking in the evening to turn the beddings, drop off a box chocolate and ask if you have additional needs such as additional bottles of water.
