Spacious rooms, that are nicely designed, perfectly equipped and certainly meet four star standard. Very attentive housekeeping. You can enjoy the nice view on the beautiful lagoon from your balcony. Especially the lady owning the Villa really takes care of you to give you the feeling of being a welcomed guest and provides you with all the information needed. Enjoyable and private atmosphere. Marvellous place. Another one reason to come back to Knysna, just to stay there. It's more, than just a hotel. The place not just to get the bed and breakfast, but to enjoy every minute. -

We really love everything about Augusta Bay Guest House - the location, the staff / services, comfort, cleanliness. Its modern and have free and stable wi-fi in the room, individual parking lot and really facing the head front. There's no elevator but the staff helped us to bring our luggages up, so it OK. A lovely clean, spacious, luxurious guest house, with very comfortable rooms. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally good for getting in and out of with mobility problems.
Staff were most welcoming when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfasts were excellent.
The location at the Heads is absolutely superb with an excellent restaurant only yards away.

It was worth paying a little extra for the Honeymoon Room. It was a beautiful, bright, modern, large room and the view of the Knysna Heads and Lagoon was outstanding. We had booked the honeymoon suite which was just as described. Large room, fabulous double rainshower plus bath. Good quality linens and towels. The view from the room was breathtaking. Vee is such a lovely person and really wants you to enjoy your stay. Great breakfasts too

An amazing boutique hotel located in the high hills above Knysna. A car is essential given the intimidating walk! The main building which is more than one hundred years old is a converted family house hence the very cosy atmosphere.
We had ocean view rooms but the view of the magnificent grounds, pool and gardens is equally good.

This beautiful boutique hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the knysna estuary. Our room was perfectly decorated with amazing views over the lagoon. The bathroom was very spacious. The variety and quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hosts and the staff were extermely friendly and helpful. The hotel has large and beautiful garden. We can highly recommend this hotel.

The stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations, the location is great, the place beautiful. Helen and her mother were perfect hosts and I can’t rate this place high enough. It is thoroughly recommended. - Amanzi was absolutely beautiful and the staff

A very pleasant place to stay. We were in the outside cottage - fairly basic but absolutely adequate. Very bright with white everywhere, giving the place an opportunity to display how spotlessly clean everything was. The owner was the larger than life Tim, a real character. Breakfast was great. The location was superb being only a few minutes drive to Thesen island waterfront or just take a stroll around leisure island. It was idyllic. Tim even had my car washed. Amazing breakfast with fresh fruits and continental option, along with the classic cooked option. Recommend the scrambled eggs. We had the premium room and it was very tastefully furnished, very spacey and comfortable. A gem in the Eastern Cape, truly the best Lodge we stayed during our trip of South Africa. Villa Paradisa is extremely well appointed and has stunning views. The Management are fantastic and go out of their way to cater to your needs. I would recomend this Guest House to anybody stopping in Knysna, it will make your visit to the city much more special.
