Wendy is a faboulous host. She is born to be a landlady. From the welcome to the farewell she was always available for suggestions, ideas, destinations to vist and most of all present during breakfast. We really recommend this place to stay if you like a quite, modern environment on "the green". -

Lovely clean spacious rooms with a view over the golf course, fantastic breakfast, unfortunately during our stay there was a terrible storm and the Guest Lodge rooms flooded overnight. -

The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms had great toiletries. The breakfasts had plenty of choice and were well cooked.

This is a very nice, tastefully-furnished, quiet Guest House on the far west side of Hermanus, 2 blocks from Grotto Beach. I can't imagine why anyone would stay in town, as there is no beach there, only rocks, and a lot of people. When I arrived, I walked to the beach in the late afternoon and was immediately hooked.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at if you want to watch the Southern Right Whales off the South African coast. It is within easy access of Hermanus town centre. Good breakfast in a pleasant environment. -

The location could not be better. We did not take advantage of the
breakfast ,which is across the street at the Burgundy restaurant,as we
had plans with friends in town, but we did eat there for dinner and it

The Auberge was really lovely, the rooms were clean and cofortable with wonderful views - the situation perfect, right on the front, the staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant across the road was perfect, so cosy with friendly, efficient staff and excellent tasty food. unfortunately it rained whilst we were there but it didn't dampen our spirits, we had a great time and to crown it all, there was a real log fire in the lounge, with a free glass of port before bed - lovely!!

Very attentive, friendly staff - we were returning guests and made to feel especially welcome. Love the fact you can wake up and watch the whales frolicking in the bay from the comfort of your bed! -

Jose and other staff were very friendly and helpful. He even booked our shark diving tour when our operator let us down. Breakfast was lovely, room big and heaters a thoughtful touch as chilly at night. Shower was huge and plenty of hot water. This isnt the cheapest guesthouse in the area, but certainly has the service. I would highly recommend.

Our stay was very comfortable with a nice room/bathroom, comfortable bed, a view/patio of the ocean. The location is very convenient just across from the walking path along the coastline into the town center of Hermanus. The owners made us feel at home and were happy to offer advice and tips about restaurants/site-seeing and we loved visiting with

Breakfast stood out as by far the best we had in 5 hotels in the Western Cape.
Great location on the cliff, easy walking distance to the Harbour for quality seafood, and to the city centre.

Very friendly and helpful owner that gave us lots of helpful advice. It's only a short stroll to the beach and the shops and restaurants. Bright and modern rooms, we even had a jacuzzi in our room. A shared kitchen and living room is available. -
