I was impressed with Tosca's attentiveness - she asked where I would like to go and brought out a map to help me. I felt very well looked after. Then in the morning I had breakfast and the manager (forgot his name) was talkative and friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast. -

the technology applied to comfort was amazing. Also, the personal attention of Ana was very important. We expected problems with our credit card and she was very helpful and patient. For an overnight this was a good choice; our arrival was late afternoon into Durban and we were nervous about driving in the dark. It quickly falls dark around 18.00, apparently year round.
Quiet,clean & comfortable with plenty of hot water & good helpful staff.

Calla and Jonelle are the most hospitable guests in the industry. Guests feel instantly at home and part of the establishment. The Villa is close to Umhlanga village with its shops and eateries, and for the more discerning gourmet, the five star Beverley Hills Hotel and the Oyster Box Hotel are remnants of Durban's colonial heritage. Breakfasts at Calla's Villa are varied and delicious.

I liked the comfortable bathroom. It was nice to have a bath and shower.I also liked having my own patio to receive visitors. The owners were welcoming + the staff were both welcoming, helpful, friendly and professional.
