  We booked A La Marthas for our last night of a month long holiday and wanted somewhere to stay near the airport. It is in an excellent location for the airport with brilliant directions. What we didn't expect was such a beautiful, well appointed guest house. It is obvious that a lot of time and thought has gone into the decor and facilities pr... ce que les gens disent » ovided.   We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar. My wife wasn't feeling well, and he arranged a special vegetarian meal for us.The room was great, the service excellent and the food was delicious.

  We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Kwandwe Private Game Reserve for a safari. The owner was a pleasant woman who helped my hubby out after we got in late. She thoughtfully gave up her personal stash of beer (3 bottles free of charge) to him. I would recommend this B&B to all and would most definitely stay there again if I were ever in the area. - The host, Talia was very accommodating and made sure that we were happy. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. They served the most amazing gourmet and beautifully presented breakfast!!You can really see that the Talia and Gary love what they do and want every visitor to feel special and well taken care of. This is a superb guest house and I will determinately return.

  owner was very accomodative, we arrived after 12h00 and he was prepared to wake up and open for us, also on our way he kept on calling to check how we were doing. - Host very friendly and cooked and excellent breakfast daily. Room very clean and comfortable. 2 lovely dogs who are so well behaved.
