  Definitely our best experience in a hotel. Mia, the owner is a nice person who treated us like family. She and her family made us feel like at home.   Wonderful staff. We were late for our train, and the guy woke up in the middle of the night just to let us in, while being very kind about it. Also, he let us have breakfast later than usual because we really wanted to sleep. The rooms were clean, the location was quiet, the view from the balcony was amazing. Good breakfast as well. If you don't mind sharing the bathroom / shower with other people in dorm-like conditions (which also were very - I was checked-in 4 hours before the official hours, there was no problem with that. When I arrived I was offered an upgrade to my accommodation (for the same price) and stayed at a luxury villa next door, which made it even better value for money. The hosts were welcoming and helped with the directions etc. The breakfast was excellent. I wish to come there again.

  The possibility of reaching Popradske Pleso by car (with the special permit). This enabled us to do a long tour (up to Rysy peak and back) that would otherwise have to be splitted into two days. - Room was very nice, the view is breathtaking. Low price for such a location. Wide selection of dishes, home made cakes were nice.

  The friendly family that owned it, immaculate room, delicious, generous breakfast, patio outside area with delicious grilled food, Slovak food, superb service, and very close to the square for shopping. We would highly recommend to family and friends.

  Old style hotel left from communist era. A bit hard to find even though it is only 10 min. walk from downtown., can't distinguish it from block of flats around, have to ask some old woman even though I was 20 meters from the hotel. Otherwise the staff is friendly and helpful, facilities OK. - nice and simple rooms, friendly reception staff

  The location is ideal, in the very center of the town with free parking. The stuff were very helpful, hospitable friendly, they even provided us with a small fridge when we asked for it. Rooms are clean and spacy, bathroom was small but new and clean. And the food was just awesome.
