  We get the smart deal so the room was big for a small price. This is a big business hotel so there are services according to. - The room was ok. The location was also ok. It took 15 minutes from the hotel to the center of St. Petursburg by car.

It was comfortable without being overly expensive so really good value for money. - Red Stars Hotel was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and the staff was very friendly. Great value.

  The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean.   Good location, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nothing special, but well working conditions in every aspects. Good breakfast, but a bit expensive - Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was more than adequate but could be crowded. The room was clean and bed comfortable. A quiet location.
