Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to
underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard
twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review

Nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best loacation, everything you need (sights, shops, cafes, railroad and bus stations etc) is near or takes not more than 10-15 min walk. Absolutely a positive experience! Good location, comfortable and clean hotel and operated like western hotels. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful and they spoke fluent English. This all gave a feeling of being welcome there.

The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. The hotel is situated very centrally at a walking distance from sights and metro stops. The interior is beautiful, the paintings in passages and rooms a nice touch. My single room was smallish but not at all claustrophobic. The bed was really comfortable with luxurious bedclothes. I loved absolutely everything! My room (classic double) was clean, spacious, with lots of day light and very comfortable for resting and working. The room service is also excellent. The breakfast was delicious with rich variety of choices. The staff is very nice, caring and helpful.
The location is very central, it is easy to find, there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, mall, shops around. I will dfinitely recommend it to my friends and will gladly stay in this hotel again.

The past reviews are exactly as it is. The apartment we had was roomy, very quiet, well equipped and clean enough. It is in a safe area. Beware that 60% of the aparts in St Petersbourg have no private bathrooms and kitchens, but this one does!

Plenty of places to grab a meal, easy access to any part of the city with the subway station right across the street.
