We've spent about 8 weeks in St. Petersburg over the past 5 years as
students, and our dorms were located in old Soviet apartment blocks; so
this hotel was a welcomed change for our short visit back to Peter!! The
hotel was very clean, which surprised me as most of St. Petersburg is on
the dirtier side. I thought that aspect of the visit was excel

A very correct hotel, with extremely large bar/ dining room complex
and a pub open late. Excellent food in that pub (which is a rare thing
to find in that town). Excellent coffee, and plenty of space to
comfortably read a paper. Location is excellent - not right at the
center with all its tourist traps but a little kickback at calm
Vasilevsky Island. A very good place on the whole although on the
expensive side.

Response staff - When we reported AC problems someone arrived right away, checked the settings, and we received a call offering to relocate us to a room with working AC. Also used the concierge services and it worked well.

This place is absolutely recommended. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained.
Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to
underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard
twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review
normal room but suite was excellent. Reception staff was really helpful

Nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best loacation, everything you need (sights, shops, cafes, railroad and bus stations etc) is near or takes not more than 10-15 min walk. Good word for water in hotel: water is ok, no smell, though when you turn tap, you should wait about 15 sec to get hot water out of it. Breakfasts were rather tasty and enou

Absolutely a positive experience! Good location, comfortable and clean hotel and operated like western hotels. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful and they spoke fluent English. This all gave a feeling of being welcome there.

The staff was very available. My walet was stollen in the street with money and ID card and others important things. One person of the satff came with us to the police station to declare the robbery. We went to the police station with one of the hotel's car. The person was very nice.
No problems in this hotel. -

Great location. Quietly located adjacent to the beautiful st Isaac cathedral, and near to the busy nevsky prospekt.
Staff at the hotel was very efficient n friendly. All spoke good English. As always W hotel lives upto it's standards.

It is a very worthy hotel. Nice, clean, neat, 5 min by feet to the nearest metro station. Breakfast is good (coffee, tea,milk, hot and cold starters, english toasts, juices). an easy 15-20 mins walk to nevsky prospect past dostoevskaya metro, which is a nice place to visit in itself for the dostoevsky museum etc.
