The Hotel is located on the other side of the river Neva. The nearest
metro station “Gorkovskaya” is about 10 min. On foot. Therefore it is
better to use the bridges and be in the center… So the location is
pretty good for walkers. The hotel room was clean and well prepared.
Breakfast made a big impression. The breakfast room is a little bit
small, but food quality and selection meets the highest expectations. If
you are looking for entertainment (bars, restaurants, swimming pool,

The hotel is situated very centrally at a walking distance from sights and metro stops. The interior is beautiful, the paintings in passages and rooms a nice touch. My single room was smallish but not at all claustrophobic. The bed was really comfortable with luxurious bedclothes. A very good hotel in an excellent location with great staff. Close to everything, suitable for sighseeing. The rooms were clean with all basic amenities. The staff was more than helpful on every request we had. ATM inside the hotel and 24h supermarket nearby also very convinient.Recommended as value for money. -

Good location - close to the river, especially convenient to watch Liteyny bridge raise (it is 1 min walk). Please note that rooms overlooking Liteyny prospekt have the best view, but are noisy. The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. A very correct hotel, with extremely large bar/ dining room complex
and a pub open late. Excellent food in that pub (which is a rare thing
to find in that town). Excellent coffee, and plenty of space to
comfortably read a paper. Location is excellent - not right at the
center with all its tourist traps but a little kickback at calm
Vasilevsky Island. A very good place on the whole although on the
expensive side.
