  It was a very pleasant stay at friends hostel. The one down side was that we had to move rooms after the first night due to noise on the bottom floor. Room was close to the social room and window nearest the hostel entrance. We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room on an upper floor. The hostel is in a perfect location of St. Petersburg, everything you need is within walking distance and a metro st - Location: in the very centre, but inside a quiet yard, not in the first line of houses. Standing at the gates you can see both your hotel and the Kazansky cathedral - one of the most beatiful in the city. You don't need to use transport at all, unless going to suburbs. Just 2 steps from Nevsky prosp. and 2 metro stations (Nevsky Prospect+Gostiny Dvor, lines ).   I must say this is the best hostel I've ever stayed so far! The hostel is pretty large and clean. I can tell the the hostel is very good managed from some details, like the regular cleanworks and well-trained staffs who speak frulent English at the frontdesk.   Absolutely perfect location. 3 minutes to Hermitage, 2 minutes to Nevsky prospect, 2 minutes to Church of our saviour on spilled blood 3minutes to Russian state museum ... so many amazing places around. Its pretty hard to find hostel so write down adress correctly. Hostel is pretty small so no chill out rooms. But kitchen, bathroom and rooms are... ce que les gens disent » really clean. Bed is comfortable. Personel who works there really try to help. Girls are very nice so for me 10/10. I DO recommend this hostel, don' - The location is superb - it's one block from the Church on Spilled Blood, and the Main Street Nevsky Prospekt, and 5 min walk to the Hermitage / Winter Palace. The staff are welcoming, friendly and keep the hostel very clean. We liked it so much (and found so much to do in St Petersburg) that we stayed a second week, and have already recommended it to other travellers. Thanks Natasha, Lena and Jane!

  To be honest we did not stay overnight at this hostel. We arrived in the morning, showered, left things, and took them on the next morning. In general, all that we saw was ok - the hostel is located near the center, adequate staff, clean shower and toilet - Nice staff and clean environment. Its location absolutely good with that price.
