Really it is a familiar environment. It is close to every important place and the service was very good. Specially the gentleman that was security at night, he always help me to get my parking for disables because my husband is visually impair. No matter at what time I get to the hotel he moved the cars so I can park close to the entrance.

A lovely place to stay. Nicely designed and clean and friendly. Stop looking, you won't find a better hotel for the money. The food was fantastic as well. Close to airport, centrally located for attractions. Don't miss the rain forest just outside of town and car rental is very affordable in San Juan.

The location is perfect! Directly across the street from Charlies/Ace car rental. Very convenient for an early morning flight. If you rent from Charlies they will shuttle you to airport. Great location, very helpful staff, super clean, good A/C. This is a basic, one floor only hotel. Looks like it was a largish beach house that has been converted to a hotel. The staff controls entrance/exit to the hotel and seemed very safe. The parking is free which not all in this area have even the expensive properties. If you don't need extras and don't want to pay for something you aren't gonna use this is a great option.

Great location, reasonably priced. It's not a new building. Apparently they have very creatively converted several houses into a hotel that reminds me of the windy alleyways of an Italian town. Walk to the beach or to Cafe Espana. -

I liked the unintentional retro-funky look to the property. It was neat in so many ways....cool pool, restaurant, greenery, etc. The desk personnel were both greate. -
The staff was really nice, the facilities were very nice too, I looked the look and decoration of the place. It's a perfect spot to have a local feel of Puerto Rico.

The owner was very friendly and informative. He waited up until 1am for us to checkin, when our flight was delayed, and always had advice and suggestions on where to go.
He also provided us with space for bikes.
Wifi worked great.

We liked the atmosphere of the place, with the tables on the patio and
the large tropical plants and fountains. We were able to get all the
information that we needed for our adventure to Old San Juan and took
the advice given for a very nice time. Wifi was great and nice to have

hour Walgreen’s, Starbucks, Charlie car rental office, and the Marriot
(the latter where we saw a live salsa band and dancing late Saturday

Our rooms were great, the beach is just outside the door and is AWESOME with nice waves for body surfing, the staff were top notch, the location is great for walking to shopping, restaurants, airport, ship docks and 10 min from Old San Juan. It is a very safe area to stay - we really liked it a lot. We loved the outdoor covered patio for eating breakfast and playing cards in the evening.

I loved every moment at the Atlantic Beach hotel. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond control my husband was unable to join me in San Juan. I don't know why all the complaints here. It was a very clean, chic,
beach hotel right on the beach.. Awesome food, awesome ocean views,
awesome hip bar right on the beach in the middle of Condado at a great
price. Clean rooms, clean sheets everyday, clean shower...stop
complaining. The reason people complain about noise in other rooms,
hallways etc is because all the floors are tile. What do you want, some
nasty carpet full of beach sand? Then the complaints will be that. Stop
it people..

Location was perfect. 5 minute walk to the beach - near La Concha Hotel. 75 cent bus ride will get you to Old San Juan. 15 min walk to Plaza del Mercado. Near bars, restaurants and a Walgreens. -

Nice, OLD, OLD hotel in the heart of Old San Juan. Within walking distance to many of the things to see and a fairly short taxi ride to the airport and cruise port for Celebrity Cruises. Other cruise terminals are even closer.
The hotel had no special attractions other than old world charm, good location and GREAT staff. Luis Garzon was especially helpful with directions, restaurants, tour trolleys and using the antiquated elevator -- when it worked. When it broke down, hotel staff was quick
