  Very nice and large room with an amazing view, bathroom was good, beds were comfortable, excellent breakfast. Easy to find hotel and nice surrounding area. The price is (for us) a bit high, but you get what you pay for. - The staff was very helpful, especially to foreigners making plans for local outings. Bikes were available onsite.   The Iisvogel is a lovely 'off the beaten track' place to stay in Friesland (Gaast is between Makkum and Workum). The appartment is part of a former church and the hosts Maaike and Marc are lovely.
