  We loved the location and the fact that it was a boat! We were in Amsterdam and lived the experience of living in a boat! How cool?! Nemo was right there and you have the best view from the top and its free. The staff was very friendly and gave us some helpful tips and gave us maps. The rooms are really small but its enough, especially because you only go t - Even if the room was small, it was well organised so efficient. I was scared I would feel the boat moving since it was windy but it never happened. The people were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was also very good.

  Excellent stay. All is majoritary positive : a very good location, the very helpful, charming hostess, the convivality in the boat.. - We slept on a boat - what else can I say? :) Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expec... ce que les gens disent » ted on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot. And the prices are pretty cheap, even the breakfast was included. There was coffee and tea all day. I would highly recommend it for a special Amsterdam-trip. :) - Fantastic location, very friendly staff, and great value for money. Cheapest room with ensuite in Amsterdam! Nice to be on a houseboat, very relaxing.

  Amsterdam's a walkable city and the Avanti is just right in the Middle of the City a 7 minutes walk from the Central Station! Made life really easy as I could explore and return at anytime without bothering when the tram and the like would close. The location of Kalkmarkt is very good next to a canal and only a short walk to restaurants, the City Center and Central railway station. The owners Veronika and Peter are very helpful and friendly and good communication when we made booking and with any queries we had. Toiletries are provided except for sha - The location is great. It s just about 10mins walking distance to the Amsterdam Central station which you can go everywhere from this station. And the house is very home feel with a kitchen. City people likes me enjoy a lot in this kind of town house. Besides, couple can enjoy simple cooking if you have been tired to eat outside during a long vacation. The flat is simple and clean as well. Absolutely recommended!

  It was my first visit to Amsterdam. The boat is next to the centrall station (10 minutes walking) in a really quiet dock! We were living at 4:00 in the morning and they made us an early breakfast. - Very interesting as we'd never stayed on a boat only a big ship!
