  Everything was very good. Comfortable rooms, clean and cosy hotel, really not far from railway station. Personal is very friendly, I have only best ratings for their work. - The cleanliness, location & concept. En suite bathroom. Breakfast and the staff. Would definitely come back to Hotelboat Iris.

  We loved the location and the fact that it was a boat! We were in Amsterdam and lived the experience of living in a boat! How cool?! Nemo was right there and you have the best view from the top and its free. The staff was very friendly and gave us some helpful tips and gave us maps. The rooms are really small but its enough, especially because you only go t - Even if the room was small, it was well organised so efficient. I was scared I would feel the boat moving since it was windy but it never happened. The people were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was also very good.

  Excellent stay. All is majoritary positive : a very good location, the very helpful, charming hostess, the convivality in the boat.. - We slept on a boat - what else can I say? :) Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expec... ce que les gens disent » ted on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot. And the prices are pretty cheap, even the breakfast was included. There was coffee and tea all day. I would highly recommend it for a special Amsterdam-trip. :) - Fantastic location, very friendly staff, and great value for money. Cheapest room with ensuite in Amsterdam! Nice to be on a houseboat, very relaxing.

Amsterdam is famous for its houseboats, and Intersail Hostel - It locate 10 minutes from Central station and Damrak, near Old City with Red Light District. Living on boat were very exiting!   Amsterdam's a walkable city and the Avanti is just right in the Middle of the City a 7 minutes walk from the Central Station! Made life really easy as I could explore and return at anytime without bothering when the tram and the like would close. Healthy breakfast, clean cabin, toilet and shower room. Great staff. The girl is always ready to answer any questions of visitors. The hotel is for those who are not afraid of pitching sea.))))   The place of the boat is excellent, the owner was really lovely and helpful. However don't expect luxury - it's a little boat not a 5 star hotel after all. So the single cabin is really tiny, but clean. And though the breakfast was more than adequate for me, the others might not like it. The bed is around 1mtr from the ground which gives plenty of room underneath it. There is free wifi internet (speed is ok) but its only available in the public area.
