Spotlessy clean, comfortable, very helpful and friendly staff.
We were near the front door and asked to be moved to a quieter location. No problem and upgraded us immediately to a suite and moved all of our baggage.
Fine food at a good price, the best food we had in Asillah.

The location, inside the Medina, is very good. The owner manager was an extremely nice man, very welcoming and accommodating. We trekked in the nearby RIF mountains and he walked us through the Medina to the foothills of the mountains to show us where to start our hike from. The terrace has great views over Chefchaouene.

This little riad was great. Great location. Step out the front door and your in the lively medina and yet at night it was very peaceful except for the call the prayer which you would hear all over Tangiers.
Our room was great. It had a double bed and a small sitting area which was ample for us. Our room also had an ensuite.

It's a very nice boutique hotel in Medina with extremely friendly people. You feel more like you are in a friend's house then a hotel. It has a great terrace with magnificent view! Don't miss out to watch the sunset there! I went there with a friend but I think its mostly ideal for couples. -

The location was fantastic.
The terrace top roof was magic. The furnishings and rooms were lovely and we were so well looked after.
Tangier is a great place to visit especially if you want to experience something completely different. Fabienne was so welcoming and a fantastic host and we also had the pleasure of meeting her mother. We were made to feel like the house was our own, nothing was too much trouble and we were given great tips about where to eat and places to go.

My room on 1st floor (6) was airy, clean, bright and nicely-decorated. Good air conditioning, pleasant (if slightly cramped) bathroom and shower.

The staff were always extremely helpful with any questions I had. Most spoke French, Arabic, Spanish and English which makes it easy for international travelers.
The breakfast in the morning is a bit pricey but it's a great way to start your day if you're not in a rush. The patio where you eat is really nice in the mornings if the weather is good.
There's a rooftop terrace with seats where you can read or relax in the sun.

Muhammed Ali is by far the friendliest and most helpful person we've met running a guesthouse. He gave us a free pick up and drop off, organized our bus tickets, surprised us with homemade yogurt on our first night, etc.etc.etc. He truly cares about great service and seems to be a genuinely good guy.
My tip for Muhammad would be to replace the pic

Casa del Rio and Chefchaouen was a peaceful respite in the midst of a
rather harried trip. The Moroccan government should hire the owner to
represent the country internationally - he was one of the most
thoughtful, considerate people I have ever met traveling, and was by
far the highlight of our Moroccan experience. The home is simple,
beautiful - the photos on the website don't do it justice. The pick

This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.
Traditional Moroccan decor, gorgeous little fountain in the living room. We stayed in the summer time and found it to be not too hot at all -- can't attest to winter.

Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. Oil heaters are supplied in the bedrooms to take the chill off winter nights. Owner and staff are superbly helpful - we booked multiple nights and received a very generous upgrade. L'accueil a été très chaleureux. Une sensation de bien être dés l entrée de cet maison d hôte,le mélange art deco a l occidental et a la marocaine est une très belle réussite!!! J'ai séjourné dans cet établissement alors que j'étais en déplacement professionnel. Cet endroit est plutôt réservé à une clientèle en vacances car le petit déjeuner est servi à partir de 8h mais à part ce petit détail, l'endroit est charmant et aménagé avec goût. Le personnel est très accueillant. Il est situé dans la médina ce qui est un plus quand on aime ce genre d'endroit.

First of all Abdul's hospitality, the best kind. The location the most suitable, at the core of a genuine non-tourist medina. Abdul was also introducing us to the curious story of the beautiful Riad, a recovered, very well taste recovered residence of a Dutch Consul. Beautiful environment and very confortable rooms. I would advise the Riad's cuisine with quite enthusiasm!

The owner,Elias is the nicest person we have met in Morroco. It was freezing at the night in chefchaouen, but he brought us 2 heaters.
He also helped us book bus tickets to Fez.
The rooms were clean and we'll decorated, enough space for 6 people.
Wifi connection was also fine.
And from the terrace, you can see the fine view of the town.
