  This was our favourite stop on our trip, we stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer. Bagdad cafe is set against the gorgeous backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site: Ait Ben Haddou. It is a boutique hotel with only six rooms and a swimming pool run by a fabulous and welcoming family. Breakfast was served in the typical Moroccan style and food was also available for lunch and dinner. As it was our anni - We loved this hotel/hostel and it was a perfect place to stay for the one night we were there in order to see Ait Ben Haddou in the morning. Rose and her husband (and lovely kids - take them Haribo sweets as they can't get them in the area) couldn't have been more welcoming and we had one of the best meals in their restaurant of our entire 3 week trip around Morocco!!   We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable and cool. The receptionist was very welcoming and - A wonderful Riad with most beautifully and individually decorated and very clean rooms. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody.

  Spent 2 nights in this nice hotel near the northern part of the wall (near Bab Bouzamarne gate). Ali and his staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful (he even let us ride with them to Inezgane to catch a bus). Excellent wifi available in the room, a good heater/ac unit and satellite TV (although so many channels to wade through that we soon gave... ce que les gens disent » up). The beds are very comfortable. He has several bicycles that can be used for free and the included breakfast was terrific (and huge). We had the - We stayed at Riad for three days and were happy with our choice. Staff and owner Ali were extreemely helpful- he even took us in his car around Taroudannt- Atlas mountains, Souss Massa National Park, Tioute. Without his help we wouldn't have seen so much. We regret not to have ordered to be picked up from the airport. Breakfast was delicious and tagine superb.

  Owner and staff so friendly and willing to help... gave us a tour and let us choose our own room as we were the first to arrive for night, the food were some of the best in all of our stay in Morocco, and the pool area is quite relaxing and clean.   Nous avons passé 5 nuits chez Taloud, la dernière semaine de mai. Il faut faire 3km de piste au milieu de nulle part, avant d'arriver dans cette maison d'hôtes. C'est surprenant pour nous qui venions pour la première fois au Maroc, mais la surprise est plus grande encore quand nous pénétrons dans la propriété. Le jeune Abdou, un des fils Taloud, n... ce que les gens disent » ous accueille à bras ouverts et sa sympathie s'ajoute à la beauté des lieux. Car tout est beau ici : l'architecture en terre et paille, le mobili - L'hotel est très bien situé, sur un plateau qui domine la palmeraie de Skoura. De la terrasse où est servi le petit-déjeuner, la vue panoramique de 360° est à couper le souffle: petit village des potiers juste à proximité, au loin la chaîne de l'Atlas encore enneigée en avril, plaine de terre ocre rouge, Jbel Sarhro, et palmeraie de Skoura avec ses nombreux petits villages et ses nombreuses kasbahs. They also have their on small but nice museum, a garden, a swimming pool with a - Rooms fitted to a very high standard and filled with plenty of local work. The hotel is a large walled complex that feels like an oasis in itself, with a beautiful swimming pool and lots of outdoor communal seating. We visited during winter and there were very few guests, which allowed dinner to be served in front of the open fire. Perfect location right next to the old mellah and the palmerai.

  We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech from Merzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel is appears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind the walls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The lounge area was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Like many French-run hotels in Morocco you can get wine. - The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.
