It's located in the centre of the souq and you do not expect to meet such a quite accomodation. The roof terrace is unbelievable. You have a perfect view on the medina and can enjoy the atmosphere. The Riad is about 400 years old and if you can have a look into the owners part.

The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always ready to help.
Nothing was too much trouble - a real 'family' feel to the
hotel, although they have 10 rooms I think. The rooms were spotless and
beautifully decorated with a real eye for detail. Location is excellent
- very close to the gates so you don't have to carry your bags far. -

great garden, spacious room, great breakfast in the garden - even with Tajine-fried eggs, after we complained about a few things (see below) we got a fast feedback and when the staff had changed the next day everything was great, no alcoholic drinks but we could bring our own wine for dinner -

The hotel was lovely but very hard to find, we wouldn't have found
it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the
best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very
friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The
locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the
best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

The guest house is an attractive private villa in a pleasant suburban
street. It is furnished in a typical arab-french middle class style. The
patron is French from Toulouse, who speaks English quite well, and his
wife is Moroccan, fluent in French. The patron kindly drove us into the
city to find a good French restaurant that he had recommended.

Très bon accueil. La coure intérieur du riad est très jolie.
L'isolation sonore est excellente: une fête se déroulait sur la
grande place jusqu'à côté sans pour autant causer la moindre gène.
Penser à contacter les propriétaires pour qu'ils vous aident à trouver le riad, vous ne le trouverez pas sans connaitre le coin ou même avec un GPS. -

Pretty cool. First place I stayed in 5 medinas that actually had signs
pointing to its location. Nice rooms, hard beds, nice bathrooms. Also
first bathroom where I had a shower curtain. Staff seem friendly enough.
Best point was me taking the personal driver to Volulibis. I was hot and

Oh, Riad Malak, what can I say? I cannot recommend it highly enough. What a truly delightful little home away from home! I went form the ridiculous to the sublime - coming from the worst service I'd ever at in my life (at Tangier's MArco Polo Hotel) to the best I've ever had (at the Malak). It felt so lovely to arrive there.

Riad Malak was an ideal introduction to Morocco. The Riad is in the heart of the Medina, close to the significant historical monuments of Meknes. The Riad has been lovingly refurbished in traditional Moroccan style and displays the skills of local artisans while, at the same time, catering for Western comfort. Rachid and Fattah saw to our every need and helped with all our need including walking to our car, showing us where the secure parking was and helping with the luggage.
