  Un havre de paix très bien situé dans la médina. Ce Riad et ses propriétaires gagnent à être connus tant ils rendent le séjour agréable. L’accueil y est excellent, le décor et les chambres climatisées de toutes beautés, sans oublier un bassin à bulles façon jacuzzi indispensable pour se rafraîchir par grosses chaleurs !! Bref, au Dar Alif on se se... ce que les gens disent » nt chez soi !! Le confort est sans appel et la terrasse offrant une vue panoramique sur les toits de Marrakech est encore un petit plus que nous ne so - Concernant le lieu : Un riad idéalement situé (au calme pour la nuit, mais à 10 minutes à pied de la Place Jema el Fna), des chambres tout confort à la décoration splendide, un bassin idéal pour se rafraîchir après une journée de marche, des petits-déjeuners copieux et délicieux... Concernant l'accueil : disponibilité, patience, gentillesse sont quelques uns des atouts de ce riad (la liste n'est pas exhaustive, loin de là).   I first stayed at Riad Chergui in July 2011 on a side trip from some business. I am happy to say that my stay this July, two years later, was just as great. Even better really. I brought my 18-year old son and his reaction was just as mine was in 2011, the Riad is jaw-dropping beautiful. The Riad is an oasis of peace and tranquility in Marrakech; the pool is particularly wonderful. It is well-located and the perfe - Excellent location - an easy walk to everything, yet peaceful enough to relax away from the hubub of the Medina Emmanuelle and all her staff were wonderful and made sure we were well looked after. We got practical advice on where to go, what to go and, importantly, how to haggle. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely decorated in local style. The meal we had at the Riad on the night of our arrival actually turned out to be one of the best meals we had in our whole 5-day stay - really good

  Gentillesse du personnel Charme de la décoration des chambres et du patio Excellente situation dans la Kasbah Tranquillité absolue - la proximité du centre Nous avons été accueillis par le veilleur de nuit qui fait ce qu'il peut et qui est sympathique. Il nous a même préparé le petit déjeûner du matin avant notre départ à l'aéroport ( 4h!!)

  This was a great place to stay in the heart of the medina. The area is mostly residential and in the evening you could hear the giggles of the children playing in the alley and birds roosting in the bushes. The staff were very freindly and welcoming. I was taken ill during my stay and they were very kind in directing where to buy medicines and... ce que les gens disent » advising what I could eat/drink. nothing was too much trouble. - It is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the souks and a little further to the square. It is easy to find as it is not far from a little square and car park, where we were able to get taxis from. Our room was very comfortable and great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful in giving advice in where to go.

Someone from The Red House came to pick us up from the airport and was already waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. This was a great way to start the holiday. Location just outside the wall provides easy access to the Medina and old city as well as to the new city for shopping and restaurants. An excellent place for staying in Marrakech.   Lovely, lovely Riad. William and Khansa were very welcoming . Arrived in the evening so we were very pleased with being picked up at the airport and guided to the Riad through the crazy evening traffic! We were given a delicious meal in front of an open fire, much needed. The Riad is in a very good place, with easy directions to the Sqaure ( once ... ce que les gens disent » you've done it once ) takes about 10 mins. The gorgeous roof terrace is just what you need to rest after a morning in the Souks or square. Comfortable - A very pleasant place to stay in Marrakesh. Whilst in the middle of the busy Medina, it is totally quiet and relaxing which is great after a day of exploring the Medina, sightseeing and shopping in the nearby huge souk. We were received very well and Khansa took exceptionally well care of us, on a couple of occasions way above expectations! Breakfast was excellent and different each day. We also received good advice on restaurants, shopping and things to see.

The Ryad was in typically relaxed Morrocan style with beautiful features in the public area and courtyard facing bedrooms. A nice roof terrace too. Well located in the old Medina although the entrance route via the old dark souk streets might be a little intimidating for some, although the streets were busy and appeared safe.
