  Location was perfect. Near to the city center and to the marketplace. Easy to get a cab near to the train station but make sure to negotiate. Would recommend to check out wikitravel.   The reception from the staff was the best thing and gave us a very good first impression .. the hotel is 30 minutes away walking from the old city .. my bedroom was clean and the bathroom was clean too - I had to catch a very early train, this hotel is really near it. And the staff is there 24 hours, so it's very convenient.

  Very pleasant hotel, with impressive atrium seating area, decent pool and clay tennis courts. Essentially it's a sort of French version of a Thompsons hotel. Good breakfast, large room and ideally placed for exploring Marrakech (see guide below). Would certainly recommend Les Idrissides. There are a selection of varying hotel standards to fit your choice but, more importantly, it is centrally connect - The family rooms are fantastic. You could lose yourself in the suite. The rooms were really spaceous, great faccilities, hotel really gets everyone involved with alot of events taking place, pools were great, easy to exchange money. The maids cleaning the room used the towels to create patterns etc on the beds which the kids really loved. They also always left sweets and rose petals on the beds every nice was was great. Breakfast was a fantastic selection, not far from the centre, all taxis

  The staff at this riad were lovely. They were attentive yet gave enough space to relax but were available whenever needed and very friendly and warm. The roof terrace is great, it gets the sun until its close to setting and has a choice of sitting areas, including a bed! However it's quite a walk from the main square, 20 mins fast pace. This was fine for us - Our staying at the Riad Nejma lounge was perfect. The people who works there were always nice with us and helped in everything that we needed with a big smile. Our room was beautiful, with an maroc atmosphere and it was really confortable and always perfectly cleaned. The breakfast was also delicious and the place that we ate it was nice. El Riad is a perfect place to rest from thw wonderfull chaos that is marraquexe.
