This place is fantastic! Really beautiful architecture right in the
Medina, which means you can do most of the sightseeing by foot. We had
dinner there for 25eur pp, which I think is expensive but the food was
truly amazing. Breakfast was excellent as well. I wish I could stay more
time! We hired a guide through them for 25eur, which was ok. They charge
10eur for a transfer to the train station in a grand-taxi, but we took a
small-taxi there for 2eur.

The hotel is so spectacular it is difficult to describe. Directly in the
Medina (Old City, the oldest Medina in Morocco). It is a former
residence of an Imam from the 17th century and could be described as a
palace. A rooftop terrace, inner courtyards and gardens, and even a
swimming pool in one of the courtyards. The manager, Said, speaks
several languages and was extraordinarily helpful, even having one of
the staff wash our clothes (we were traveling via motorcycle through

The owner and the lady-manager (Hind) were extremely nice and
accommodating. They gave us several good dining suggestions, we could
order some excellent pastries through them. The parrot was a charm. Wifi
works well and can be accessed from the rooms. Breakfasts varied from
day to day and included Moroccan specialties. -
Absolutely everything about this Raid was wonderful. It was so good I almost don't want people to know about it!!
The renovations have been carried out with the finest workmanship. The locations is outstanding, being only 100 m from the taxi and at the gates of the Medina,. Our suite was spectacular in all aspects.,

We were 2 couples and we reserved suite amina, but since Hotel wasn't full they upgraded us to 2 beautiful and confortable bedrooms (with great bathroom) in a house just in front of the main building, witch had all facilities corresponding to the main building including wireless wich worked very well!
Location is near Bab Guissa, wich is very convenient if you have a car, since you can leave it in the park (not free) just outside medina and walk just a bit

The friendlyness of the staff is incredible. I have never before experienced a warmness like this before, as if you are coming home with friends. My friend was sick wenn we arrived and was taken care of immediately. Sakina and Hussein bought him medication, for which they did not want to get any money. They boiled him rice and did not charge, etc. These are lovely people. And the Riad is a nice place. An oasis of calm in the hectic of a Moroccan city.
