Capsule Hotel Asahi Plaza Shinsaibashi - Photos
Ce que les gens disent
At just 30 odd Sgd, I get one night's accommodation and even access to the sauna and hot bath.
Facial foam, bath gel, shampoo and conditioner are all provided. Amenities like shavers and toothbrush available at no extra cost.
In the womens' vanity area, there is ample space and it is fully equipped with cotton buds, hairdryers and even hairbrushes(disinfected under UV light though).
I slept really well in the spacious capsule. It was definitely a highlight as it was the first time in a capsul. tous commentaires »
- friendly and helpful staff who could speak English. I left my luggage key on the floor, and they returned it to me! Which was lifesaving.
- close to shopping area; dotonbori and shinsaibashi inside shopping strip. it was only a few minutes walk away.
- cosy accommodation. the capsule is bigger than you think
- very clean
- enjoyable facilities: i used both the sauna and onsen
- i felt very comfortable within the women only section.
Sci-fi fans will enjoy this place to the fullest, which is seemingly a dystopian society-based sci-fi movie set that has been turned into a hotel. For everyone else it is a practical choice if you want to explore Osaka and enjoy the local nightlife. Not really for families with small children, unless they fall into the first cathegory.
The hotel is comfortable, they have pajamas, towel and for woman, there
is an powder room. You can left your things in the lockers, and the shoes
you have to let in the entrance. The bed is very comfortable. There is no
cellphone charge in capsules, but you can charge your cellphone in
another place, or pay ¥600 for 6hours of charging.
Its really close to subway stations, and they absolutely provides what
all the girl needs in the bathroom also the pyjamas for us
- toothbrush provides , powder rooms , food . all neccessary things are here , and they manage the room design quite very well. not too small and not too big.
Best for backpackers ! or short staying.
Requires getting used to if it's your first capsule hotel but surprisingly convenient (even if the capsules are a bit claustrophobic). Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is clean and not far (10-12min. walk) from Namba Station and the Midōsuji-sen metro line.
Fun experience to stay at a capsule hotel. Very good value for money. All you need is provided - pyjamas, towels, tooth-brush, 24h sauna and bath, massage service until 5 am, etc. Very central location.
The front desk staff was overall friendly. There were many TV channels and they were good. The lounge area was free and relaxing. Bathroom amenities were useful, such as fingernail clippers and razors.
is a unique experience sleeping in a capsule. was fun. staff helped us to manage in osaka. is 6 blocks from the subway. the spa and sauna very good. friendly amenities.
Capsules were clean, comfy and spacious. Womens area was ver safe and secure. Loved the gowns, toiletries, clean bathrooms and spa area. Real fun nights experience.
The communal atmosphere. The capsule was comfortable. The location was strategic. The price was great. The staff was very nice. Lots of English signage.
It's a typical japanese capsule hotel in a good location and the
staff speaks some english. Very nice spa-area with showers, hot pool
and sauna.
I thought the place was managed really well. The staff were very helpful. And the place was very clean.
value for money: comfortable bed, clean common bath room, nice onsen & friendly helpful staff!.
You don't need to bring your towel, shampoo etc, they everything for
you and it's for free.
With vending machine selling milk, and TV program showing erotic video. That's perfect!!.
The capsule itself is clean, although quite hot. The shower room is clean.
A lot comic books. Got Washing machine helping traveler can wash cloth.
Good facilities like a restaurant, hotspring, relaxation area.
great location, pleasant environment and fast, free wifi.
Perfectly situated in America-Mura.
Female friendly and secure.
A completely different experience. Good for one night, more time, it may be becomes uncomfortable. Luggage stays on a different room and after you lock it you move around the hotel (capsules, bathroom, relaxation room) dressed in a kind of pajamas. All people the same. It is the closer experience I had so far into the "scary" future of humanity!.
The location is perfect in the heart of Amerika Mura quarter.
Sleeping in a capsule is definitely an amazing experience.
staff is nice and useful.
Grooming room.
expirience.
sauna.
it's a nice experience to sleep in a capsule.
I think if someone wanna do the experience in capsule.. One night is
enough...it's not a place for young people for sure.
The staff couldn't really converse in English. Also, I was a backpacker, I wanted to leave my bag at the hotel till 2pm (check in time) to explore the area. They charged 200yen for 24 hours to take care of my bag, when even I left it there for like 2 hours. Its like, maybe, a locker fee. Didn't like that footwear was not allowed in the entire complex.
Had to opt for a capsule with either a working TV or a working power point. For a capsule with both, u have to pay a little extra.
do not stay out too late at night unless you know where you are going. the streets around the location are a bit confusing, and does get quite dark and creepy at night, especially when alone.
For the man, the only bad thing is that it's too hot inside the
capsule. And the noise is a little bit annoying.
The locker is too small to fits " carry on luggage" be aware
of taking a luggage u might not be able to put it inside ur logger and
have to left it at the lobby with 200 Yen / night ( the price is
reasonable but it can make u really tired going up and down getting
your stuff).
Extra charge if you want to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out.
It was hard to get away from the cigarette smoke.
having to be barefoot, which for all you charge up to charge the phone. uncomfortable having clothes in a locker. was difficult to locate, I spent an hour wondering seen anyone located the street.
Not signposted too clearly; common room was very smoky. Can get noisy in the night due to 24hr access but that's part of the experience.
Too much smoking in the common areas. No chairs or benches in the locker room.
Wi-fi access only on one floore (not in the capsules). It's not
alowed to store anything in the capsules and the lockers are not that
big, so if you have a big backpack you have to pay extra to store it at
the front desk.
I found the capsule mattresses very hard and not comfortable at all. Also I got little sleep due to other people making noise and eating in their capsules. I thought there was a "no food" policy, and I thought people would be more considerate of others need for a quiet place to rest.
nothing!.
No big luggage in the room.
What's a pity the speaker cannot plug head phone.
The person at the reception barely spoke any English. It is allowed to smoke in the unisex common room, which is the only place where Wi-Fi is accessible. Unfortunately not all people respect the rule about not unpacking their bags in the capsules.
If want to using wifi only can using at b1. Breakfast time until 9am.
Need charging phone at first floor only.
I'm too big for the capsules haha.
Mattress in capsules was a bit think.
Very small lockers for the luggage, unrecommended if you have big ones.
Well, if one chooses to go to a capsule, I guess complaining makes no sense.
The mattress in the capsule is thin and hard, pillows are stuffed with
rice so really unfortable and, in winter, even if it is quite chilly,
the extra blanket is paying...
The whole resting room is smoking area. It makes non smoker uncomfortable.
Open bathroom.
Quite warm.
really not for a westerns!! and believe me I'm not spoiled.
pay a bit more but avoid the stay.
No privacy, has to shuttle to floors for things.
place must be renovated. no real toilets. no private showers. have to check out every day. drunken people lay on the floor. confusing room concept. wifi only in smoky common area. stuff speaks hardly any English.
we do not recommend to stay here. Maybe one night for caplusule experience in ok.
The room concept is an epic fail! You have to walk through the lobby to get to the bathroom! Only Wifi in an downstairs livingroom. The toilets are just a hole in the ground and you have to sit to use the shower!.
the staff's english is so bad...
You have to pay day by day of you wanna sleep a little bit more they
come to wake you up... The English of the stuff is really really
low... And the food is terrible I mean you have to be brave for have
dinner there.
