The hotel owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate, but the same each day. The evening meals were all freshly home-cooked and excellent, with different menu each night.
Bedroom and en-suite comfortable and spotless.

Located in the hill above Baveno. Beautiful views on walks around the
small town where Campino is located. Marco prepares a wonderful
breakfast and off-street parking (no charge) is available. Excellent
trattoria down the street -- all local patrons. Also, on weekdays, if
you go somewhat early (9 am), you can park for free on the main street
going through Baveno and pick up the ferry for the islands right there.
Not as crowded as Stresa.

Most rooms are facing the lake and you could sit out in the balcony enjoying the view. The bed and pillows are comfortable, with firm mattress which is quite important for a good night sleep.
The car park is right opposite the hotel which is very convenient. But it is not within walking distance to Stresa town centre as it is still a few minutes

Very cosy, nicely decorated little place with a view to Lago Maggiore. Very helpful and hospitable staff who made it feel like we stay at our grandma's country house. Fascinating breakfast! If you tavel by train e.x. from Milan, you might find the location a bit remote. This is however very relative... We had no problem to have a 30-mins walk from the train station along the coastline to the hotel. If you travel by car, the location is perfect and a free parking is also available. Highly recomm

The double room we booked was really large (the bathroom too). It was clean and relatively freshly refurbished. There's a free internet connection (each day you have to ask the owners, who work in the restaurant downstairs, for a 24h-password). Old hotel that has been renovated extensively. The room was was very large with a hallway leading to the bathroom. Very clean and tidy. Staff and owners struggled a bit with English. The hotel was right in the middle of Stresa and very close to ferrys to islands. Very hard to find as name on building is not the name in Booking .com.

Beautiful gardens and building. Absolutely stunning place to stay. We had a balcony room in the annexe which had great views. The staff were so helpful and kind the whole time we were there. A small family run hotel and for us we couldn't have stayed anywhere better in Stresa. Clean, great architecture, beautiful gardens, modern enough retained its old charm and beauty.
