First of all this is a very beautiful old villa with wooden floor and ceiling, old nice decoration incide, with a very nice garden with roses and very friendly staff. Consider lake view rooms to get wonderful view of Maggiore and more comfort with trains passing by behind hotel (we didn't notice them to stop going even late at night).

The hotel was clean and neat, and the bathroom well equipped. The owner was very helpful and gave good advice on the places we wanted to see, and the best travel arrangements. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of food. Very quiet at night - in a residential area. -

We were well looked after- the hotel is like something out of a fairy tale ! It is truly old world charm the view was breathtaking . The staff were brilliant at a sumitro us breakfast- The location across from the jetty to the amazing islands and the proximity to the local square with quaint shops and restaurants are all part of what makes this hotel super.

The hotel owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate, but the same each day. The evening meals were all freshly home-cooked and excellent, with different menu each night.
