  Wonderful, helpful and reliable staff. You could set your watch to the three rotating desk clerks, and each was extremely warm and hospitable. Wifi was very reliable, unlike that of other hotels which claim to offer it, and then it only works in the lobby.   The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was for 4 people but we rented it for 2 of us because we wanted the lake view. It was lovely and spacious and you could sit on the sofa and look out across the lake. It's a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars along a very pleasant promenade. We had a lovely time there. Salo is really... ce que les gens disent » pleasant and in a good location to see other towns. We parked a few minutes walk away in the supermarket as recommended and this was free. Would stay - What wasn't to like? The family-owned apartments are well kept. There is also a family run butcher shop next door which was excellent! The location is literally a hop across the street from the promenade. Absolutely lovely area! Right around the corner from two different grocery stores. There is a great market on Saturdays with a mix of clothing and local food vendors. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again!
