  I've been to Venice many times but never before managed to secure a reservation at the Pensione Accademia. By "the bus" stop Academia is a small restaurant owned by a family from Tunisia. Amany was a great hostess there.

  Venice is a small city (for me anyway) but hard to navigate, so people will get lost (I got delightfully lost several times), but I thought Residenza La Loggia was super easy to find. With only the map provided from their website I went straight from the St. Mark's vaporetto stop (from the airport) to the B&B with no wrong turns. If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay.   Family run, friendly owners who could not do enough for us as it was Italian dominated and the owner was aware we were the only English staying there. If we were to return to Jesolo we would stay there again. - Wonderful, everything perfect, great Staff, people and treatment.

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel really stood out in terms of quality (from what we saw of other hotels in venice). The staff (who all spoke at least some English) were friendly and helpful. The room was impressive and ours was bigger than I thought it would be after I read that some people thought the rooms were small. Although the hotel first seemed is a li - After reading horror stories of small rooms and inconsistent service in Venice, we intentionally looked for a room with updates and some space and Carnival delivered both. Check in was easy and quick! The hotel was in the quite end of town and away from the crowd. It is also a very short distance (5min) to the public transportation dock and maybe 15 min walk to the train station. Rooms very modern and clean. Hot water all week and lots of water pressure. La situation était facile d'accès car très près de la place St-Marc. - L'hôtel n'est situé qu'à 5 minutes de la place Saint Marc et est un point de chute idéal et très confortable pour visiter la ville et profiter pleinement... ce que les gens disent » du Carnaval. Le personnel est très agréable et compétent. La chambre est très confortable et propre. La salle de bain a été entièrement refaite à neuf avant notre séjour (février 2009).
