Reception and lounge are nice and welcoming. Breakfast with no problems. Room is nice and spacious (double). You can even see the sea from your room! Its peaceful and wonderfully attractive setting is a perfect oasis away from the always crowded historic center. Inside, the huge villa offers many areas that give you a sense of a family home more than a conve - The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.
