  Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

  All the staff at the hotel were wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely little bar which is open late, and a beautiful dining room with a fabulous view of the beach. The room was large and well equipped with shutters over the windows which is great for an afternoon nap!   Everything about our stay was ideal and perfect. We absolutely loved the hospitality that Guido and Ada provided, as well as their entire team. The beautifully decorated rooms in such a stunning setting, together with incredible food and wine, plus all the special little touches (such as fresh flowers in the room and even a chocolate bunny on East... ce que les gens disent » er!) were done in such great taste and thoughtfulness. The fruit and vegetables grown on site were amazing to enjoy for breakfast (especially the fres - The attention to detail was amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The country setting was lovely. The only problems we had were returning at the end of a days outing in the car as the GPS did not pick up all the small roads. A very detailed map is important to have. As well there are one way streets in the nearby towns so you don't always follow the same routes leaving the hotel and returning to it.
