  Reception staff very courteous and helpful. Gave us a free upgrade and let us check in our room early. Room facing the race track is really nice. very spacious and modern. Although the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to the Autostrada and just a short drive to Ortigia Indoor pool is nice.   I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. Plenty of parking and a view of part of the volcano top Etna and not far from the city Catania. Approximately 500 m to the beach but only rocks and no sand beach.

Be careful, don't follow the GPS, follow the signs or you may arrive at the backdoor and it's quite an art to escape, backwards driving, no way to turn, through a small alley... The godfath - We truley enjoyed our stay at Sant Alphio, we were close to the beach and city centre of Giardini only a few minutes away.
