  Absolutely charming. The building has a lot of character and history. I Loved the fact that only some areas are renovated so you can still see its age. The room was huge and very comfortable.   Ivan and Fabbiana are exceptional hosts - we were grateful to have such wonderful people welcome us to Sorrento. The staff is a reflection of the owners - Giovanni went out of his way to assist us with parking, traffic control while we parked, and carrying our bags to the hotel.   During a 2-week trip to Italy this great hotel was the highlight. The stunning views of the bay of Naples from our room and the beautiful dining room/ restaurant were a joy! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a nice variety (including tasty omelettes and cappucinos). My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.

If your coming from America, expect room to be smaller than we're used to. We had a small room for the price of a suite in Vegas. The room has everything you will need.
