  Everything! It was the best place where we stayed during our 10 days trip. Hosts are really nice, friendly and helpful. You feel there like at home. the place is located just in te center of Mandello. Besides the rooms to sleep owners have their own restaurant and wine place. Food is really delicious, so does wine!:) Rooms are spacious, and neat. ... ce que les gens disent » Bathrooms are clean and nice. Morover owners have the bikes, which you can rent for free and eg see the town. I strongly recommend it. I really enjoye - Wonderful hotel with restaurant. Very comfortable, cosy and clean room. The owners are very gentle and friendly. Perfect place for romantic vacation. That smal and quiet town has beautiful embankment and park, memorable architecture, beautiful church with the bell tower. The views on Lake and mountains are gorgeous. It takes only 15-20 min by train to get to Varenna, about 1 hour and 15 min to Milan or to Bergamo (tickets are possible to buy at newspaper's shop in front of railway station). H

  We absolutely loved this B&B. Pietro met us at the train station in Olcio (a lovely surprise!). He and Maria were so lovely and couldn't do enough to look after us. We had the attic room on the top of the house which was spacious and had amazing views of Lake Como. We even had our own kitchen! All in all we cannot speak highly enough of this B & - We had a really nice two days stay in the hotel, including all advantages of family run hotel - friendly and helpful staff, cosy rooms, excellent breakfast, support and advices for what to see, where to eat and how to organize your sightseeing activities. Perfect location - nice view, quite place and easy access to all places to visit by car/boat (optional). Parking in place is really important for this area.

  The location was excellent for me on my cycling trip. The hotel is located 300mt from the Madonna del Ghisallo Sanctuary and Bicycle Museum at the top of the legendary Madonna del Ghisallo climb (Giro Di Lombardia). Also the staff was amazingly helpful. The hotel's restaurant was closed for the season but they pointed me to a very nice little, but... ce que les gens disent » very well stocked grocery store/ bakery and allowed me to cook for myself in the restaurant kitchen! The price was great, the whole place was very cl - Nice to be outside the busy tourist area of Bellagio, in this relative wide-spot-in-the-road town. There was a nice restaurant/bar within walking distance that seemed to be open late.. Which is nice, since there is no store in this town. The hostess gave us very good advice on our trip and spoke great English. We took a late night hike into the local mountain just behind the hotel - it was breathtaking.
