  Stunning building and location 10k outside Lucca - you need a car to stay here but definitely worth it. Tranquil, unique interior but if you don't like religious iconography you might find the paintings and sculptures a bit overwhelming. Beautiful views, amazing dawns, friendly and helpful staff, well stocked breakfast buffet but the coffee could ... ce que les gens disent » be improved. A lovely hotel to come back to in the evenings and even though the rooms are small and basic the bed was comfortable and the views made u - This old monastery is in the countryside outside of Lucca. It is situated in a garden / vineyard with beautiful tranquil views. We travelled from the hotel to Lucca and Pisa and found it well located for a drive to the local towns. The courtyard is perfect for a relaxing bottle of wine - which is available from the bar inside.
